The fields are situated pretty close to Tempelhof Airport and are
easy to reach by car, underground or bus.
Arriving by car from any direction you have to get on the motorway A 100 which semi-circles the inner city. Keep looking for signs to "Flughafen Tempelhof". Take the exit to "Tempelhofer Damm" (B 96) and head north, still following the signs. When you arrive at "Platz der Luftbrücke", a large square in front of the airport's main entrance, turn right onto "Columbiadamm" for another kilometer or so. Look for the entrance to the sports club "TiB" on the left side after that old propeller airplane on display to the right. The closest train stations are Friedrichstraße and Alexanderplatz but you can also reach us by public transport from others (Zoo, Charlottenburg, Spandau, Ostbahnhof, Lichtenberg, Wannsee). Go to underground stations "Südstern" (line U7) or "Platz der Luftbrücke" (U6). Exiting underground station Südstern cross Hasenheide and walk up Lilienthalstr. The street forks after a few hundred meters. Take the left branch - still named Lilienthalstr. - which looks more like an entrance to a parking lot. Arriving at Columbiadamm turn left and then enter the sports club on your left. From Platz der Luftbrücke simply walk down Columbiadamm. |
